A downtown, Financial District, or Seaport fit-out often has a go-live date and a fiber ETA that don't match. The office needs something in the ~200 Mbps class and a static public IP so phones, VPN, and cloud tools work on day one. Waiting on a street build isn't a plan.
First path is fixed wireless or C-Band where the rooftop can see a Netafy signal. If the shot isn't there, we say so and we can talk secondary options. We don't invent coverage.

What offices usually ask for:
- About 200x50 C-Band class when that's the path that reaches the roof
- Or 300x300 when the rooftop shot supports a symmetric wireless handoff
- A static public IP
- A term we confirm on the order (published Boston pages list a 12-month initial term, then month-to-month; some office quotes are written as 24 months)
- Install in the hundreds, not thousands. Published Boston install is typically $199-$499.

How the job runs
- Site survey. Address, suite, and a roof or exterior we can actually use.
- Rooftop check. Can we see a Netafy signal? C-Band, GigTier fixed wireless, or neither. If it's a miss, we don't force a radio.
- One primary wireless path. Ethernet in the closet, static IP handed off, office can open. Typical published Boston install is 1-2 weeks from a signed order. No street trench.
- Fiber later if you want it. Keep the wireless path as primary, flip it to path-diverse backup when the wired circuit finally lights, or drop it. Your call.

When this is the wrong tool

If fiber's already in the riser and the only wait is an inside handoff, take the fiber. Wireless is for the construction wait, the landlord who won't let a new lateral in, or the older building where the conduit fight is the delay.
